Privacy Policy
This Policy explains what data we process when you use the watchmy service, for what purposes, and on what legal grounds. We respect your privacy and process data in accordance with applicable law of the Russian Federation (including Federal Law No. 152‑FZ “On Personal Data”).
1. What we collect
- Account data: username, email address (for sign-in/recovery), and password hash. Passwords are not stored in plain text.
- Public profile: everything you enter in the editor (display name, bio, links, avatar, banner, background/video, tags, cursor, etc.). This information is public by nature and is visible to all visitors of your page.
- Integrations: when you connect integrations (e.g., Discord, Spotify, Steam, Twitch), we store identifiers/tokens with the minimum required permissions needed to display your status/activity. You can disconnect integrations at any time.
- Files: uploaded images/audio are stored on our servers to render your page.
- Technical data: IP address, user agent, and basic view statistics to protect and improve the service.
2. Public nature of content
All information you publish in your profile is public and accessible to any visitor. We are not responsible for the consequences of voluntary disclosure of information by you. Do not post in your profile anything you don't want to show to everyone. Public data does not include your passwords, email address, payment details, or other private technical data. Posting extremist content and materials that violate the laws of the Russian Federation is prohibited — such materials may be removed and accounts may be blocked.
Pages you mark as 18+ may be shown only after age confirmation (age gate) when opening the page.
3. Legal grounds and purposes
- Contract (offer/terms): providing the service functionality and displaying your public page.
- Consent: connecting integrations, uploading media content, and optional features (effects, widgets).
- Legitimate interests: security, abuse prevention, and basic analytics to develop the service.
- Legal obligations (upon requests from competent authorities under the laws of the Russian Federation).
4. Storage and security
Data is stored on the servers of our hosting provider. We apply technical and organizational protection measures (including password hashing, access restriction, and minimum permissions for integration tokens). Media files and public profile fields are, by definition, accessible for viewing by everyone.
5. Retention periods and withdrawal of consent
We store personal data until processing purposes are achieved or until the user deletes the account, unless longer retention periods are required by law. Consent to processing can be withdrawn by contacting support — this may result in the inability to continue using the service.
5. User rights
- Access and edit your profile via the editor.
- Disconnect integrations at any time.
- Request account and data deletion via support.
6. Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell personal data. Disclosure is possible only: (a) to infrastructure providers (hosting/email/CDN) to operate the service; (b) in response to lawful requests from government authorities under the laws of the Russian Federation; (c) in case of reorganization/transfer of the service while maintaining the same level of protection.
7. Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies for authentication, settings, and basic analytics. You can restrict cookies in your browser settings — some features may not work correctly.
8. Policy changes
We may update this Policy. The current version is available on this page. Continued use of the service means acceptance of the changes.
